PlugSense uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, and Cloud Firestore.
Firebase Authentication is used to securely handle account sign-up and login using your email and password. Firebase Realtime Database and Cloud Firestore are used to store user account information, device information, and smart extension cord data.
PlugSense may request access to your device camera for QR code scanning. The camera is used only to scan QR codes for adding or connecting smart extension cord devices. We do not use the camera to record videos or take photos without your action.
PlugSense may be used by users of all ages, including children under the age of 13. If a child uses the app, we encourage parents or legal guardians to supervise the child’s use of the application.
We only collect information necessary to create an account and operate the smart extension cord features. Parents or guardians may contact us to request review or deletion of a child’s account information.
